# What It Buys

> Mining without a buyer is a treadmill. Vision Credits are the consumption-side primitive that turns the network's data into recurring economic demand.

***

## Definition

One Vision Credit grants the right to **query, license, or stream a defined unit of verified vision data**.

**Example unit:** one minute of segment-level access in a one-square-kilometer hex during a one-week window.

The exact unit is a governable parameter. The Foundation will publish a v1 schedule before any Credit is sold.

## Why Vision Credits Matter

Vision Credits are the **demand side** of the Clawglasses economy. Without them, mining rewards come only from scheduled emissions. With them, miners earn from real economic demand for the data they capture.

Every Vision Credit purchased burns $SIGHT, creating buy-side pressure that benefits the entire supply side.
